How do I do a partial file download on a Dejavoo Z8/Z11?

If you have been instructed to do a file download, please follow these instructions.

Download file updates for Dejavoo Z11 Touch Screen:

  1. Settle any Open Batches
  2. From the idle prompt, tap the three lines on the bottom right of the screen to access the Core Menu
  3. Using your fingertip tap the word UTILITY
    manager password default is 1234
  4. Using your fingertip tap the words SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD
  5. Tap CONNECT
  6. Tap ETHERNET (if downloading via phone line, choose DIAL PPP, WiFi choose WiFi)
  7. Tap PARTIAL
  8. Press the Green OK key to accept the TPN number listed (to confirm this number is correct, you can turn over your device and match it to the serial number)
  9. Terminal will display APPLY UPDATES - use your fingertip to tap the word YES
  10. The terminal will now download and install your software, and reboot.
  11. Check the top right hand corner of the display to ensure that the date and time is correct. If you need to adjust it, click here for instructions on how to adjust date and time.

  1. Settle any Open Batches
  2. From the idle prompt press the Green OK key to access the Core Menu
  3. Press #4 for UTILITY
  4. Press #2 for SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD
  5. Press #1 for CONNECT
  6. Press the Green OK key for ETHERNET (if downloading via another method, use the arrow keys to move to your connection and press OK)
  7. Press #2 for PARTIAL
  8. Press the Green OK key to accept the TPN number listed (to confirm this number is correct, you can turn over your device and match it to the serial number)
  9. Terminal will display APPLY UPDATES - press F2 for YES
  10. The terminal will now download and install your software, and reboot.
  11. Check the top right hand corner of the display to ensure that the date and time is correct. If you need to adjust it, click here for instructions on how to adjust date and time.
